When the Aloo (Potato) Biryani Strikes your Dining

Its a massacre of your taste buds



Preparation Time 15 Minutes approx
Cooking Time30 Minutes approx
What goes in?

Basmatic Rice : Around 250 grams. Boil it ¾. Drain out excess water and keep it aside.
Small potatoes 8 to 10
Onions 2 , chop them finely
Ginger paste along with garlic paste    3 Tablespoon
Yogurt Half Cup
Tomatoes        3 , chop them small
Yogurt 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
Chili powder    ½ Table spoon
Turmeric powder         3 to 4 pinches
Coriander powder        1 Tea spoon
Cumin powder            1 Tea spoon
Bay leaves       4
Oil       4 Tablespoon
Salt      Depends on your taste



Preparation Process?

A. Heat oil in a super heavy deep pan and then pour the bay leaves on topNext add the onions. Fry them until brown a bit.
B. Next, you can add the garlic paste and the ginger paste. Heat it for one min..
C. Next, pour in the spices and the salt. Heat for another min.
D. Now it is turn of the tomatoes who had been waiting all this while. Pour the tomatoes and fry them until the oil starts becoming visible. When this happens, pour the and mix it. Fry it for a min.
E. Here comes the tomatoes, add the tomatoes. Add around 2 cups of water. Let them dry on medium heat. 
F. Now add the partially boiled rice. And let the deep pot heat for another 5 minutes.
G. In the end, garnish it with coriander leaves and you may sprinkle some salted cashew nuts on top.
H. Serve it hot.
